"The Sony BDVE300 Home Cinema System comes with automatic speaker balancing with a supplied microphone that is positioned where the viewers will sit in the room. Plug in an press "go". hear the loud sound whiz around the room. Great effect. We have just watched our first Blu-ray DVD - an amazing experience on the BDV-E300. The sound is great with our normal TV watching - especially on Sky HD. We should have bought one years ago, but then we would not have got such a good one at such a fabulous bargain price. Well done Sony"

"I purchased the Sony BDVE300 Home Cinema System yesterday, it took me less half an hour to set it up. You don't need to be a professional to set it up. Sony supplies you with a mic which is used to calculate the distance of each speaker and adjusts the volume and time delay of each speaker. They even supply you with a video cable which can be a temporary solution for the video output but I believe an hdmi is what gives you the full potential of the system. I bought it in order to get the surround sound out of my ps3 which is connected to my projector. So what i did was just to buy an optical cable and connected the ps3 to the BDVE300. Have in mind that you will need to change the output of the ps3. Having a ps3 made my life easy as the software on the system is the same as the one ps3 has. I was so excited with the BDVE300 which I bought as my Christmas present, so that by the time I set it up I was using it for 10 straight hours playing games and watching movies. I highly recommend the Sony BDV-E300"
